Due to the very famous movie,The Great Gatsby we saw a surge in Art Deco and over the last year or so, it hasn’t been as popular. We are thrilled to say that we have seen a re-surge of this stunning era and interior design theme. Art Deco is experiencing a serious revival right now, from the fashion shows in Milan, New York and London, to beautiful Art Deco pieces and furniture, and we are excited to share with you some of our favourite show stopping pieces, that are perfect if you are looking to add some decadence and an Art Deco feel into your home.
The Great Gatsby recreated the essence and opulence of the 1920’s era and we are seeing such a revival in popularity, as there honestly is something so incontrovertibly refined and decadent about the interior pieces from this period. The Art Deco style can bring all of the glamour of the roaring 20’s to your home and we recommend doing it through small touches. Think clear and structured defined lines, symmetry, rich patterns and OPULENCE.
In 2021, we are seeing a huge Great Gatsby influence with a resurgence of luxurious fabrics and patterns and so much gold! We love all of the glass and crystal that we are seeing featured around the globe in the interior design industry and this glass console table is the perfect addition to any home looking for a splash of this theme.
